Sugendri Pillay Kitchen Tea

I was so excited for this one, went down to Durban, KwaZulu-Natal to photograph my dear friend and fellow architect, Sugendri’s, Kitchen Tea. Her family was so lovely and welcomed me into their home and company straight away, I ended up chatting and eating all the delicious goodies most of the time! Hope you like the images Sugendri, it was an absolute ball to attend and be part of this special moment in your life. Send my love to your family!

The Munro & Meintjes Family

The Munro family have been great family friends of mine throughout the years, they decided to do a quick family shoot with the grandparents and the grandkids, it was on their stunning farm near Fort Mistake, in the vicinity of Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal. As one can imagine, if you put all family in one location for 2 hours with a vast amount of space (with a dog and some added sheep), there are bound to be a few great natural moments of interaction between everybody, it turned out to be a very energetic shoot and so much fun! So much so, that I lost my car keys and ended up finding it with a metal detector, lol, but that’s a story for another day! Thanks to the Meintjes & Munro’s, you guys were fantastic.

Marelize Phelan Stork Tea

This was a quaint and intimate stork tea in Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal, I traveled down to do the tea together with Marelize’s maternity and family shoot the next day, it was an absolutely perfect warm, spring Saturday afternoon. Everyone huddled in the little coffee house waiting for Marelize to arrive, and what a surprise it was for her! Overall a great day was had by all.

The Phelan Family

The Phelan family is from Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal, they have the cutest boy, Mitchell, and I couldn’t resist to almost have him in every shot! I wanted to have the concept a little more quirky than usual to capture their humorous and fun side as a family, this was just their natural, every day, home environment… what more do you need!
